Hi All, any advice/info on a couple questions would be greatly appreciated, we’re about to take my daughter on her first WDW trip so my wife and I are rookies to the rider switch system and I was wondering about a couple things:

1. When looking at the Disney website, I did not see that Rise of the Resistance was listed on the DHS attractions offering rider switch? Can anyone confirm they don’t offer switch at RotR?

2. While one of us is in line and the other is waiting with our daughter, are you required to stay and wait in a specific area near attraction entrance the whole time, or do you have some flexibility to leave for a while and go do something else just so long as you’re back when it’s time to switch?

Thanks!

Hi! We’ve done rider swap many times with our 2yo. It’s as easy as both of you speaking to the CM with the ipad at the entrance of the attraction - the person waiting will have their MB scanned and then the 1st rider is free to enter standby. Super easy.

1. They should definitely have it! I’ve yet to do any height-restricted ride that doesn’t.
2. You are not required to stick close by, you can go do anything you want. Just don’t miss your return time (I think like LL you have an hour grace period once it starts.)
