Rider Swap?

How is the rider swap working? Does everyone have to stand in line until you reach the CM and then get the pass? Or can we just go to the CM first, get the scan, and then myself and the baby take off and ride something else?

You all can set it up at the CM and then whoever is riding can get in line. Right now (depending on the ride) it can look like you are passing some people in line, but the first person will just go back to the end. Also going to the FP line works as well and there are usually no people standing on that side (again depending on the ride).

It depends on the ride and time of day. The only ride my son has had to wait in was Avatar when we arrived before park open. Otherwise we’ve been able to go to the rider swap distribution with everyone and then those riding have gotten in the regular standby line. We have been here since Monday.

Thanks. I was mainly thinking of big rides like SDMT and FOP. I was wondering if the first rider could get in line and I could go to the CM and ask for the rider swap and point to her already in line, or did we all have to be right there first and then her join the line? A lot of people could join the line while you are waiting on the CM to queue up the ride swap.
