Heading to Orlando in March ~~ planning on hitting up US and IOA the week of March 18 (I know busy time)!

Question: is there such a thing as rider swap at either or both parks for those rides with height restrictions? If so, how do I get one? Front entrance of the ride?

Universal has a thing called Child Swap where the entire party goes through the line together and then you split at the end- the child and accompanying adult(s) go into a waiting room while the others ride, then switch off when they get back. Keep in mind you won't be able to bring in a stroller.

Oohh - no stroller? My two year old isn't going to stand in line waiting for us to go on a ride esp if there are any dark areas (too scary).

I was hoping their system was like Disney’s Rider Swap.

Nope..I actually prefer Universals system though...There are often movies on in the waiting rooms, but my DD is older , just timid..But if it is an issue, you can always use single rider ( if there is one on the attraction in question)

Me, too. I will say we haven't used it, as DS is tall enough for everything, but I really disliked splitting up before we got into the line at Disney. Much more family friendly for us to stay together. For a line with some darkness or spookiness, with DS at 2 I would have just held him, had him piggyback, or put him in a back carry in the Ergo. (note: I would not do The Mummy's line with a little kid...that was over the top spooky, even for just me!)
