Is it possible to do rider swap in the FP line? We are a family of 4 and my youngest will not ride Everest. If I book all 4 of us a FP can we use Rider Swap? So-I could ride with my son once and then my husband could ride with my son once? I was going to just have my son use my daughters FP but that would mean doing the line twice and Rider Swap would be the same amount of riding and the FP line only once.

You go through the FP line with the rider swap, so its the same line whether you use the FPs for all 4, or rider swap. Keep in mind as well that the CM may not give a rider swap if your youngest is technically tall enough to ride. People have had different experiences trying to get a swap for kids that are tall enough but choose not to ride. I would go with the 4 FPs and just swap bands so your son uses your daughter's FP.

Yes, you can get a rider switch with FP. We are 2 adults, 1-41 incher and 1-32 incher. What we do is schedule Everest for me and get the switch. We then schedule rapids for wife & 41, getting the switch there too. I then get to ride rapids with 41, wife gets to ride Everest alone, and 32 gets to chase lizards and look in gift shops with no wasted FP!

Sorry-I'm confused. Do you only book a 1 FP for yourself on Everest and 1 for your wife and kid on Kali and all of you enter the FP lane a still do rider swap?

Because we have the little one, we split our fastpasses to maximize our rides. So in this case, I book 1 fastpass for me on Everest (I ride by myself) and 1 for the wife and 1 oldest on Rapids (just the two ride.) We go thru the fastpass line. We can get a rider swap for both. My wife can then ride Everest (by herself) and the oldest and I ride Rapids (hiss second time.) With the rider swap, you go thru the fastpass line. If you have multiple adults and a little one where someone has to stay with them anyway, you can split fastpasses and get "extra" rides with the swap.

Rereading your original post, It looks like your situation is different from ours. If the youngest will not ride, I suggest you split the fastpasses one parent and one child per ride (like Everest for two and Dinosaur for the others.) Just try to get the rider swap so the parent that didn't get to ride Everest gets to ride with the eldest kid.
