Has anyone used Ridemax? And if so, how did you like it? And is it worth it even if you have read multiple unofficial guides as well as all of HydroGuy's tips on FP's :goodvibes? DW and I will be at DL Sept. 14-18 if that makes any difference.

My family loves Ridemax. We are a big family and it cuts down on the, "what do you want to do next," factor and the fighting. We all sit down the night before and each person gets to pick one or two things they want to do at the park the next day, we plug it into Ridemax, get the order of rides and everyone knows that they will get to do what they want at some point during the day. It gives them a time and we are not wasting time trying to decide what to do next. Also gives us minimal wait times and with 6 kids that is huge. It gives us a break in the afternoon to get a nap, swim, shop or what ever we decide to do. For us we don't do Disney without it but that is my families opinion. If you can afford the fee, I would say give it a try and see how you like it. If nothing else it gives you an idea of what to do each day even if you don't completely follow it. Hope this helps.

I've used Ridemax for the last three visits and loved it. Our last visit was 7/2009 over the July 4th holiday, so it was a fairly busy time of year. We plugged in our "must-do's" and "wouldn't mind doing." We rode everything we wanted several times with minimal waits. I thought it made very efficient touring. We also left big breaks in the Ridemax schedule for any impromptu activities that caught our fancy.

We'll use it again at over the Christmas holiday this year. I know it will be very busy, so I'm curious to see how Ridemax handles it. I think I'll be getting my subcription soon, so I can start playing around with it.

Yes another Ridemax fan you would be surprised how easy it is to use and how accurate or near to the times it is.

A few years ago I used the official guides touring plans, and it worked decent enough. But I was also traveling with a 2 year old so we didn't do much in the way of big attractions.

Since then, we have used Ridemax twice at DL (once during easter week) and once at WDW and LOVE IT! The wait times are always accurate, if not more than what the actual ride wait time is.

The cons are that it does have you walking back and forth between lands at times (not that big of a deal at DL but at WDW it was a pain!). But the pros (great touring schedule, not having to figure out what to do, plugging in dining and nap breaks, etc) far outweigh the con.

We are going again in Feb over the holiday week and def will be using it!

I remember some people posting that Ridemax wasn't factoring in the WOC at DCA and it was causing glitches. Does anyone know if they fixed this yet? I am also considering using their plans.

Since you know about FP's and how to work them I wouldn't waste the money on ridemax. You will be there during a slow time so most of the waits will be minimal. for the few busy rides use FP.

Friday night and Saturday are the only times it would be worth it to use ridemax. But by then you will probably know what else you want to get in and can be more relaxed about it or use FP.
