Ridemax

As for my friend, I told her that if she doesn’t want to get up and go when I want to then call me on my cell when she finally does get her lazy self out of bed and she can catch up. :teeth:

Remember, if she's not there, you can't get her FPs, so you'll either have to wing it or go separately...neither sounds good to me! You might want to work up an itinerary for that possibility, so there's something to fall back on (other than your brain which should be on vacation!) in that possible case. :)

Yeah, I know that I couldn't get a FP for her if she's not there. Actually, I was originally doing this trip solo so I have no problem with being in the parks by myself (My last two WDW trips were solo). She decided that she wanted to go as she's never been to Disney before (DL or WDW). I told her that I'm used to being at WDW parks from opening to closing but that I want her to enjoy her trip so if she wanted to sleep in we could plan to meet later. She seems set on getting up early with me and going to bed late. So, I don't really expect to have to use cell phones to meet up with her, I was just joking about that in my earlier post since that is what I've told her.

I have subscribed to Ridemax for DL for the past two years and I love it - I have recommended it to many friends. I normally run multiple scenarios in advance to account for ride breakdowns or capricious children. I'll also occasionally do a printout of a popular ride's wait times for the whole day, just to see how the line changes (and in case we want to ride it again). Doing a spreadsheet like the one Hydroguy did using RideMax would be amazing to make itinerary changes on the fly, but I imagine it's very time consuming for a user to do so. It's a great product and has saved me many hours of entertaining little ones while waiting in the sun. I'm going to buy the WDW version soon...

I'm going to be depending on Ridemax heavily when we go to DL in 3 weeks. Not only do we plan to hit the parks on a weekend our first day, but on a holiday weekend to boot.

We'll have 3 days during the week in DL and DCA and we're hoping that the crowd level won't be quite as bad as the weekend, but you never know, so we're going to be creating itineraries for those days too.

Our last day in the park is the official opening of the Holiday season, so that will be another day that I'm going to be praying that Ridemax does what it claims to do.

We'll do our part and get to the gates early....the rest is up to the accuracy of the data that Ridemax has gathered.
