We are planning a trip the beginning of June. Would using RideMax be as good as splurging on the AAA package at a Disney resort and getting the enhanced Fastpass?

The two are so different I dont know that they can be compared in that way.

Enhanced FP (EFP): you would be staying on site, so cost is going be be about $100+ per day more then not staying onsite. Since you would be staying onsite you would get more EE (early entry) days then staying off site (unless they stop that bonus before your trip). The actual EFP is going to help you repeat some of the big rides more, but its stilll going to be up to you to decide when to do those rides, as well as all the rides and attractions tht dont offer FP.

Ridemax: about $16 for a 3 month subscription. Its going to help you plan your whole day, and get the most rides in, FP and nonFP rides.

Another thing to consider is how long you'll be at the park, what you enjoy / what your goals are. If you like to take the park as it comes- stop and see characters as you see them, catch a show on a whim, etc, then ridemax is not going to be great for you. If you want a day or two that alll you do is get in the most rides possible, then yes, get ridemax if if you have EFP! It really is a great program if you are just trying to ride rides, and want to do avoid "what should we do next?".

FWIW, RideMax does have an option to create an itinerary for Enhanced FastPass (EFP) holders.

I do not think it is worth it to stay at DLR hotel only for EFP. The only advantage to EFP I can see is if you plan to get to the parks late every day (i.e., 2-4 hours after opening) . If you get there early, it is quite easy to get all the FPs you need the regular way. We were rarely able to use all of the FPs we collected the regular way, as long as we started collecting them first thing in the morning. If you arrive in the afternoon, there is a good chance FPs will be gone for the big rides. So EFP will not help you there either.

The multiple EE days for a DLR hotel guest has value, but how many times do you want to do FantasyLand?

If you are already inclined to stay at a DLR hotel, then by all means book thru AAA and get the EFP.

Regarding RideMax, if your question is which will get you on more rides, RideMax or EFP, the answer, on average, is RideMax. If all you want to ride are FP rides, then EFP will get you on more (at considerably more expense, BTW). But most people want to ride the FP rides once a day - maybe some twice, and the other non-FP rides as well. EFP will not help you with non-FP rides at all, while RideMax will.

As pointed out by others, there is more to DLR than rides, and neither EFP or RideMax will help much there.
