Ride Swap wth Triplets?

You may luck out and as they ride other rides they gain confidence and decide they want to ride together. Otherwise, yes they will keep letting you do rider swap. We had to do this at Barnstormer with my 4, 4, and 5 year olds in September.

Yes, you can have kids under 7 ride alone ( in a row by themselves or with someone under the age of 14) as long as you are in the car with them ( the set behind them or in front of them) There is no age limit on space and this is a single file set so you are not sitting with anyone but people under 14 can ride as long as they are tall enough to ride.

This was very inconsistent during our last trip to the World. Travelled with a 5, 7, 8 and 9 year old. Several CMs wouldn't even let the older children ride next to each other with an adult in the vehicle.

NO 7DMT does not fill every set every time anymore

Before after the FP and standby merged there were 2 lines and even line and odd line. now they are just one line ( as of last time I was there) so if there is an odd number of guest and no odd numbers around then you will be alone. I did 7DMT about 5 or so times in my December trips I was with 2 other people ( so 3 all together) and then alone for another trip and I sat alone all but 1 time

I guess they changed it sometime between when we were there in August and you were there in December. In August they had the two queues and even/odd, down to a science! Made everything go rather quickly, IMO. Wonder why they changed it?

It sucked with two lines the odd lines were always ( when I went ) was at least 3x slower I want to get in line and look at the even line and the last guest when getting on then I would do the same thing and the last guest when getting on.

I talked to a few managers and they all said this was a problem they did a test last year (I think it was last year) and they went back to two lines ( I was later told they had too) but it was back to one and it is the best thing runs so good.

You'll be fine with what you want to do. I have 9 year old triplets and we have been to WDW 5 years in a row. We used rider swap a bunch in different permutations. And once they hit 7 and can sit by themselves, it's great because it gives them a nice feeling of independence.

But as others have said, Barnstormer and 7DMT are the only rides where this will matter.

That makes no sense - empty seats means more people wait. Also, not quite sure what you are trying to say happened in your first sentence? Every time we have loaded as an odd numbered group, we have gotten on quickly, as they load one car odd, one car even. That way, they don't have to stop and try to find singles/pairs to fill empty eats, or send out cars with 2-3 empty seats.

20 riders will fit in each train. The ride takes less than 3 minutes. If they leave even 1 seat empty, that's 20 riders per hour not going on. On a typical 13 hour day, that's 260 people not getting on. I hope they go back to odd/even to get those seats filled.

well if they went back to a single line after the FP standby mirage then there was a resion for it. My guess is a lot of people complain about one line or the other ( I know for me the odd) was really bad they would only take 3-5 people from the odd line for each train and sometimes no one form the odd line at all. TSMM had two lines too and that has since gone away ( not one line is just for guest on VIP tours) I know I was very happy that they got rid of the two lines and I hope it stays this way.

when they went back to two lines and after doing a test last year I did go up to a manager and I told him about my exspricne with the line. He told me a lot of people did not like the two lines and like the single one much better and that I was not the first person to say something to him. I had a nice long ( 10-15 minute) talk with him

We are a party of 3 so most of the time my kids ride together and I ride alone. Every time we rode 7DMT prior to December 2017 (probably dozens of times) I was always paired with another rider but in January and just two weeks ago I rode alone and was not paired with another rider. I was surprised as I am used to them filling up the cars as with RnRC and Everest, the only other ride I am not paired up with another rider is TSMM.
