Ride refurbishment list? Haunted Mansion in August???

We're 40 days away from a trip planned around the Haunted Mansion - whole reason for going is to see the new HM effects.. And now I'm hearing on Facebook that the HM will be closed starting August 16, which means for our whole visit.

The Disneyland FAQ directs me to the calendar for the refurbishment list. The calendar is updated for that week yet. So, is there any way to confirm or (please please please) prove this rumor untrue? Is there a list of expected refurbishment plans outsider of the calendar?

Most likely closed for the change over to “Haunted Mansion Holiday.” Which re-opens in September.

It's going down to get its annual holiday overlay. It'll be down starting August 16 and back up September 3 (shows off official refurb list starting that day).
