Ride Question

My 9 YO doesn't have a phone but would be able to use one. If a ride breaks down, I would assume that a call could be made unless there's something blocking the signal.

Hmmmmm there are a few rides were you wouldn’t have cell service. Indiana Jones, Soaring Around the World, Pirates (though I doubt you would go on that without him). I think Guardians of the Galaxy is also a phone dead zone.

Edited to add: Maybe the Star Wars rides. I’m not sure as I never tried to call/text from those lines.

Indy, Soarin, Pirates I know for sure don't have signal. Indy is notorious for breaking down. Space Mountain has signal. I only know because I got stuck and was texting my mom about it lol

Personally, I couldn't enjoy a ride if I was seperated from my kids at the Park. I'd be worried about them the whole time, making the experience pointless.

We were stuck on Pirates for 30 minutes last Friday in the auction scene and had a cell signal. I don't know about the ride proper in Indy, but the line does have spotty cell service -- I usually have service from the "pull the rope" area until the ride boarding zone. I know the line in Soarin' is a dead zone, but the screen room might not be since it's closer to an exterior wall, and I think the odds of getting stuck in long breakdown after you've entered the ride there are low.

I can get cell signal on pirates but only in that area or towards the end. Other portions not so much so it will depend on where you get stuck
