For those of you with young children who have attended the Pirate & Princess Party, I have a few questions:

We are thinking of going to the Pirate & Princess Party on May 31. I think DD will really enjoy the special activities offered. I know she'd like to ride some of her favorite rides as well.

How are the lines during the party? Are the lines any smaller than normal because of the other activities going on, or are they about the same as a normal?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you! pirate: princess:

We went in Jan, and I don't know if this is helpful, since it will be a totally different time of year, but I'll give you my experience.

There were definitely fewer people overall, compared to a normal day at MK.

We were able to walk on BTMR over and over.

Lines for characters seemed to be the longest wait. We didn't do any characters.

For the fireworks, which were amazing, we were able to walk right to main street at the last minute, and find a nice spot- it was not wall to wall people like at Wishes.

For the parade, we got our place about 15-20 minutes early. It was definitely full, but not overly crazy/crowded.

It was fun!
Enjoy!

My experience was with MVMCP, not P&P, but our experience was very similar to SCJO68's. The lines for rides were not bad at all during the party. There were lots of characters out and the lines to see them were kind of long. (My kids normally aren't "character meeters" but they wanted to during the party, so we waited in the lines... but for the rides, we walked on everything we tried.)

We were there right before the spring break rush started in March, but it was raining so I don't know if that affected the crowd. We spent most of our time in Fantasyland and we did not have to wait more than 5 minutes to get on anything. The character lines were about a 20 minute wait but very worth it! The kids were thrilled with the interaction time they had on the night of the party. We walked up to watch the parade about 5 minutes before start time and found a front row spot easily. By the end of the night we were the only people walking on the bridge past the castle and we have great video of the girls dancing to the music. Definitely the highlight of this trip! Hope you have a great time!
