Are these rides the same duration post-refurb? Or are they shorter?

I feel like the canoes are shorter. I don't feel nearly as tired. But maybe not officially.

Didn't they cut off a third of the island when they re did the river? The routes must be shorter. I wonder if the canoes will be more popular now!?

In December we were lucky enough to ride in the wheelhouse with the skipper of the Mark Twain. We asked him about the new route and he said while it is shorter, they've slowed the Mark Twain so that the ride takes the same amount of time as it did before.

It really feels much shorter on the Mark Twain now. I used to feel like it was a long break to ride it. If they slowed it down, I can't tell. I've only ridden it twice since it reopened, but it seems much shorter. Perhaps that is because I am looking for certain sights. There are still things to look at, but it seems like less. That may just be because they area all closer together now.
