One thing to keep in mind on ride height. My 6 year old son is 47.5" with his shoes on. So we ran into a few issues. Technically he isn't tall enough for the 48" rides that he wanted to go on. But it became an issue because he would go up to the ride height people and depending on the person and the slope of the ground they would say he was ok. If you measured him at the top of his hair with shoes on he is 48". He was pretty good about it, running up to each one and seeing if they would let him on, but he just about went into shock when the people changed and a ride that he just went on, they wouldn't let him on again. He almost cried. If you have kids that are close on the height just keep it in mind. Two other points. At the water parks he didn't have shoes on and with his hair wet he wasn't even close to 48". & If we decided that if we go before he grows an 1" we are going to have him wear his shoes with the built in wheels. (heelies???) He can push the wheels into the shoe and walk normally but they have an extra high heel and would he would easily be above 48". Just a few things to consider.
