Ride Closures

I just checked the entertainment schedule for when we are going to be in DLR (July 31st - Aug 6th) and it shows Pinocchio's Daring Journey closed for refurbishments. Didn't that ride just go through a refurbishment? How accurate are the ride closure schedules, is there any chance it will reopen early?

Is it common to have a really popular ride closed during the summer for refurbishment? I am so sad to see it will be closed.

It could open a day or two earlier, PP did I think. They seem to be going through the FL rides this summer (Snow white is closed now, after Pinnochio it's storybook canal & Casey jr). Are they refurbing the FL rides to hold more visitors like they did with PP?

Ahh it must have been PP I was thinking of that got refurbished, man that stinks
