We just got evacuated off of Radiator Springs 45 minutes ago. Now we are stuck in line at Indy. Ride is down.

A kid jumped off the car at RSR. Not sure what the deal is now for Indy.

A kid jumped out of the car... Lovely. I guess they can only do so much but geez!

Wow! The kid must have found some way to rig the seat belt so that he could wriggle out of it.

In terms of Indy, the most likely reason is that something set off one of the track sensors (e.g., hat, sunglasses, cell phone, etc. fell from a guest and landed on the track), so the attractions has to be shut down, the safety issue resolved, and then the attraction has to be restarted. Indy has one of the most sensative safety systems and it seems to go down frequently because someone lost something on the attraction.

Not sure why or how. It was a little girl and she jumped out onto the track. That's all they told us when we were evacuated. The ride was shut down for th rest of the night. They said she was ok, but who knows.

RSR and Indy are the two most problematic rides in our experience. We've certainly had them break down on the same day, but it's always a bummer considering how much you have to wait for both.

The could retrofit the cars to 5 point racing harnesses on RSR and TT at Epcot after this event. Remember Splash Mountain at WDW operated for years without lap bars until someone decided to leave the boat. Then, Lap Bars got added.

Had a lot of trouble with ride closures during our early morning hour this trip (Aug 5-7). On the first day California Screaming, RSR, and TSMM were all closed throughout EMH (actually, TSMM opened briefly around 7:30am, just to break down again just a few minutes later). On the second day we wasted 20 of our MM minutes waiting for Alice, just to be sent away because the ride broke down, too. :( Both days turned out to be fun, regardless, but we were pretty frustrated at the time.
