Ride closures in January 2020?

My husband and I will be visiting DLR from January 27th to the 1st of February. Does anyways know what rides I should expect to be closed? Haunted Mansion should be reopened by then after removing the holiday overlay, right?

Unless HM needs an extended refurb this year for some reason, then it should be reopened by those dates. Disneyland doesn't post most of their refurbishment plans until much closer to the start dates unfortunately, so it's hard to guess what is going to be in need of some work at that time. I would expect either or both Splash Mountain or Grizzly River Run to be down for refurb though since they do typically use January-March (and sometimes even into April) to work on those rides, and they do seem to go down for at least some time on an annual basis. There is also a chance that It's a Small World might be closed as well depending on how long they take to remove the holiday overlay and if there's any other work they want to get done on it at the time. It usually goes down for removal of its holiday overlay after Martin Luther King Day.

The 5 years I been going jan and feb. its either grizzly or splash. The only time both were open at the same time was 60 anniversary was diamond celebration.

I prefer grizzly as splash is all anticipation with the drop at the end!
Grizzly is sox wet and water spout soaking wet!

We are planning to go in early January (8-10) for the first time and I've been wondering the same thing about ride closures. I know HM and JC will most likely be down to remove their overlays right after the holidays, but I can live with that. Hopefully not anything else major!

Jungle Cruise isn't getting the "Jingle Cruise" overlay this year, so it shouldn't need to be down. But It's a Small World does get a Christmas overlay, so it should come down starting January 7. The Christmas parade will have ended by the time you're there, and the new parade they're working on doesn't start until spring. So you may get the Band-tastic Cavalcade in place of a parade. Autopia will come down the beginning of November, and who knows when it'll be back. And, then there's bound to be something that time of year that there's no way to anticipate.

I was under the impression that Small world stayed up until after MLK weekend?

Does anyone know if the Cars Land rides typically close in January to remove their holiday decorations? This is one area I'm super excited to see in January!
