Which ride would you pay for your guests to go on??

  • Rock'n'RollerCoaster

  • Tower of Terror

  • Toy Story 3-D at MGM

  • Soarin'

  • Test Track

  • Mission Space

  • This is a waste of money....

I'm thinking of doing a ride buyout (or whatever it is they call it).... taking a vote on the 1 ride you think my guest HAVE to do if they do only 1 ride in Disney.... has anyone else done this? Did the guests enjoy it?

Although Rockin' Roller Coaster is my favorite attraction.....I voted for Soarin' because it might appeal to a wider variety of people. I don't know what your guest list looks like...but there are some people that might not like the speed and loops of Rockin'. Whereas, it's kind of hard not to like Soarin'.

Just my thoughts! Really good choices to choose from though.

Rock n Roller coaster!! TSM would be great, but only if they could figure out a way to have everyone play against each other. Since I doubt that could work, the "car" in RNC would be awesome!

You can also do a ride mix-in (where they just hold back the park visitors so your group can ride together) for a lot less. :thumbsup2

WOW! Thats the coolest thing I have ever heard! How much is it to do a ride buy out?

Do you have any guests with disabilties? This may limit what they can ride?

ANy one of the rides would be a wonderful choice!

A Ride-Mix in is $15 a guest. I'm planning on doing, Soarin', Test Track, or Mania depending on our reception location.

Something for our guests to do while we do bridal pictures.

Cribbing from my DFTW book ... ;)

The cost of buying out the entire ride or show after park hours ranges from $700 for Turtle Talk with Crush to $14,750 for the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, with most rides in the range of $3,500-$8,000.

sorry to hitchike, but is there a way to get the passporter printed?

PS can you do a "mix in" in wedding attire?

The Bridal Party can not ride. I was told it was just for guests, as you can not ride in your wedding attire.

I voted for Rockin' Rollercoaster. I could ride that all night!

ToT would also be really cool. I ate dinner with an Imagineer who said they sometimes ride ToT all night to check the decor and ride details (they don't wear seatbelts!). Might be kind of spooky, though.

If this is correct... my vote is Waste of Money!!! Sorry!

Book printing info can be found HERE.

Past brides have ridden in their wedding attire (there are pix in trip reports on this board), but it could be that they have tightened the restrictions lately.

Is this for when the park is closed?

Ride buyouts = after hours

Ride mix-ins = during park hours

:thumbsup2

My vote is for TS Mania because if somebody can't ride a roller coaster (too old, too scared, etc.) they can still go on TS Mania.

I have never heard of a ride buyout but I think that is so cool!!!!! :)

I voted for Toy Story, my family are friends are pretty competitive so they'd love to waste their time doing this!!

Wow! I had no idea this possibility existed. I think it's very cool. I had a hard time picking but I voted for Soarin' although my very close runner up would be ToT.

I voted for Soarin cause it's something almost everyone can do and it is a great ride.

I need all the info on this!! It sounds like a great idea! Who do I call to arrange this? Can this be done on a different day than the wedding day?
