Ride breakdowns and evacuations?

In the (hopefully!) unlikely event that a ride breaks down and they have to evacuate, do they have provisions for people with poor mobility? I can transfer into the car on Expedition Everest but I couldn't walk down loads of steps if it broke down and we needed to be evacuated on foot. I may be worrying over nothing but wanted to clarify.

Thanks in advance.

Yes.
If you can't walk down the steps, you would need to wait to be evacuated.

Thanks, Sue.

Would they bring one of those evacu-chairs or whatever you call them? I'm not enormous by any means; around 5ft4 but I'm slightly overweight, so not the lightest person to carry down the stairs!

I'm not sure exactly how they would do it, but my youngest daughter can't walk or stand and is too big for us yo carry (5 feet tall, about 82 pounds). We've been told that if an attraction is evacuAted, we would need to wait for evacuation.
In some cases, it might mean some kind of carry device. In dome cases, it might mean they have a way yo manually move the ride car to the exit area or somewhere else it would be easier to evacuate from.

Thanks for the reply. I will just cross my fingers and hope the situation doesn't arise.

My greatest fear is to have to evacuate on Everest on that part of the big incline that is open, outside, and all those steps. They'd have to blindfold me and manually pry my hands free, then drug me and carry me down...
