Got up a little late today. We are going to try to go to Six Flags today. Hopefully the rain will hold off, if not we'll just see what else we can do around there.

VERY late this morning. I spent the night in the ER with a very high fever and a headach that would stop a train! I didn't get home until 4:30, but I had to go turn dogs out, so I thought I would stop in for a second. Haven't read the thread yet.

No more smarty Pants???? How can we live without them?

Lorraine - hope the weatehr holds out and that you have a blast! I love Six Flags.....I try to get out to our closest Six Flags, Great Adventure a couple times during the season!

Carol! I wouldn't DREAM of "stealing" another Angel's Riddle Bud idea (what would THAT call out the Riddlecon Police?)!!!! We'll have to come up with something creative! I'm SURE I'll be well represented!!!!

Warm and muggy here today....but no sun to speak of...I think those storms are still making their way around!

It is raining steadily this morning, though it is supposed to let up later. We could use the rain here - it has been VERY dry here!

I'm having fun figuring out how to replace all this pictures with text-based representations!

Good morning! Diane, I hope you are feeling better today. Elaine, I know how you are feeling about the storms...we have had one stormy day after another here. I am really getting tired of seeing rain/thunder/lightening in the forecast & out the window...

I am going to miss the Smarty Pants, and am trying to understand the reasoning for their demise?? (I am so computer challenged, I am lucky to be able to just turn it on, so I don't get all this bandwith stuff at all!)

My understanding is that it's not entirely bandwidth that's the issue Donna, but rather how the board software has to react to that bandwidth. Each of us connects to the board and the boards accomodate us by opening a connection for us. If we spend a long time loading a thread (because of numerous images - smileys, clipart, smarty pant, etc.) it slows things down for everyone else trying to connect to the boards...

So, to be a good citizen around here, I figured it wasn't fair for all of us on the riddle to be slowing folks down....
