Very calm here today. The weather, I mean!

It has been nearly a week since the workers were out to the house. I think Wednesday was the last day they were there. They did get the garage floor leveled last week, and I think measured for the log railings on the loft and stairs. Now I am waiting for sheetrock tapers the same way I was waiting for roofers a while back! DH is doing all the finish work, so he has been building extension jambs for the windows in our garage. That has taken him all this long weekend, and hasn't even started the ones for the big gable windows yet.

Good morning everyone!!! Busy weekend here with my brother in town. It was nice but very rainy... still is for that matter. But we had a good time all the same

Diane, sorry to hear that Duffy didn't win anything. I too am shocked though that proposing is such a big thing to do at a ballpark.

Mickey, so glad to hear that your mom is improving and in a regular room. I do hope she gets to go home soon. I'll continue to keep her in my thoughts.

LOL, I just had to go get DH out of bed! It occured to me that he hadn't come in for his good bye kiss yet. He was still in bed!!! He is usually at work LONG before this. Now he will have to fight traffic. I think he forgot it was a work day!
