I like hearing all these good reports on driving a Taurus. That's the car Hertz is giving us while we're in Vegas. I have driven a family van for 8 years now, so I'm nervous about driving a car!

Someone asked about 105 in Vegas............. If the humidity is down, it will be hot! If the humidity is up, you will be broke. It is more humid there than here, but I love it! You just don't go out and stand around, that's for sure. I am in my pool ususally, so I just splash around a lot. The really nice part about that heat is when it cools off to 95 or less and you can be outside, it feels like 75 or so, because it is so dry. If you are going to have to spend time outside, make sure you have plenty of water all day. And sunscreen!

I am clueless on the Ts, but I will think about it, while I am "telecommuting"!

I LOVE the story about the $$! How sweet! My son did something a little like that when he was younger....I collect Precious Moments figurines and one day we were in a gift shop and he bought me a small dog PM piece and said it was "for all I did for him"! That is still one of my most cherished memories (and one of my most prized figurines!)

I'm off to pick up DS from swimming. Sure wish the pool was not on the opposite side of town. Especially since he is practicing for his driving test. He's really a pretty good driver, it's just such a long trip.
