I ran the school Carnival for years. Each year the PTCO would give us seed money to buy raffle items and game prizes. My buddy Joe and I would head up to Walmart with our PTCO money and attack the toy department! We filled up 3 or 4 shopping carts with goodies! Talk about a fun shopping trip!!!!

Sandi, so sorry to hear about baby Faith. What a terrible thing to go through.

Lars - loved your answer from yesterday! I must admit, I miss our K-Mart. I knew exactly where everything was in there. I am getting used to Target now. I am not a fan of Wal-Mart at all. I try to avoid it whenever possible.

Our dad and his wife have been in the process of selling their home and moving into a new one. Their current house sits on lots of acreage and is about 2 hours away from us, and it is getting to be too much for them to take care of. They had found a new place, only about 45 minutes from us, and were going to move in at the end of May with our step-sister and her children. Lorraine told me yesterday that it turns out the new house is in bankruptcy and shouldn't have been sold to them. Their current house is due to close pretty soon, and now they are stuck. I am going to call them today to see what is going on and what they are going to do.

Speaking of keeping fingers crossed tonight is the final night of cheer tryouts for Megan..she'll know tonight if she makes the squad for the high school next year....

ROTFLOL! At least the roofers finished at last! All these road workers want to do is park in my driveway so there is NO way I can get in or out. Friday I came home at noon, and there were two pickup trucks parked in the end of the driveway. I had to wait for someone to move one of them. Yesterday DH came home to find a big front end loader across the end of the driveway. The guy inside was ASLEEP!!! DH honked the horn several times, and finally had to go knock on the window with a stick. The guy nearly jumped out of his skin!
