Riddle me this!

Two mothers and two daughters go shopping.

They have $21, which they split equally between them without breaking any dollars!

How can this be possible?

Yesterday's:

A jar starts off with 4 amoebas in it. The amoebas split their cells in two, therefore doubling size, once every minute. The jar will be completely filled in 10 minutes. How long would it take to fill the same sized jar if it had 8 amoebas in it to begin with?

It will take one less minute!

Sometimes it's nice to get here early and watch the mist rising off of the dew-covered threads and to hear the wild posters crowing as the sun comes up over the fields of the DIS.

More often, it's nice to get that last half-hour of sleep.

Hi Vanessa!

Yep - up early today. I had a late soccer game last night (we won!) and took a nap before it. My sleep pattern is definitely disrupted this morning.

So I figured I'd just go ahead and get started.

I cant wait for the clocks to change..... then maybe I'll be able to sleep past 6am.

Last night was all band night. The fifth grade band, sixth grade band, the seventh and eight grade band and the HS band all play 2 songs but they all played the Star Spangeled Banner together...WOW!, it was really touching. All the jazz bands played too. it was a good night of good family fun!
