We got about 6 or 7 inches of snow on Saturday & it's been very windy here so it's blowing and drifting. brrrrrrr
DS had a play-off hockey game yesterday that they WON!! YAY!! sometimes I have mixed feeling about these games.....the further they go in the playoffs the farther I have to drive to the games...yesterday's was an hour away....Tuesday's will be a little farther than that....I am very glad they're doing so well but I'm ready for the season to be over too...hockey is a loooong season...he's been playing with this team since late August.

When we were following the high school soccer team this year as they went to the state playoffs, we had a similar experience! Each win took them further away from home! I must be so exciting to see them winning like this though!

I feel like I've got a lot to catch up on, after taking a few days off here! I think I'll be reading back 4-5 pages today to see what everyone has been up to!

must be so exciting to see them winning like this though!

I really is exciting! They are a great group of boys who have worked very hard to get as far as they have. Their coaches are wonderful! They have overcome a size problem this year with talent. There are teams they play where the opposing teams players are literally twice the size of them. Our boys are small in stature bit large in heart! I think that sometimes the larger boys uinderestimate them.

Good morning, all. It took me a couple of minutes, but the PM has been sent.

OK, glad to hear that your cold is better. Mickey-better you than me for the outside snow activities. Although I did go for a walk in the middle of the storm with my sensitive DD who was having a meltdown because of her older brothers (don't ask ) Diane, I'm ready for the green, too. [But I have to be honest, it was nice to actually have some snow this year. I'm just ready for the sun!

That massage would feel real good right now. Talk about the aching muscles-I don't know what they'll be like when I actually start exercising!

Anyway, it was dark when I started reading the thread and it is dusty now. Gotta check to see that the kids make their bus! Have a great day!

Laura, you'd be as dangerous as I am here....Target and HD are right next to each other.....actually.....the plan for today was to go to HD and get the new vanity for the bathroom (so it can FINALLY be finished) and then stop at Target to see if the new towels are still on clearance and buy some more!!!!!!!

...at the rate I'm going though, that doesn't look like it's gonna happen.....oh well....

I have a mommy brag this morning. I hope you guys don't mind.

Matt swam 8/under championships on Saturday. He took 2 firsts (100 yd breastroke and 100 yd free style), one third (100 yd backstroke) and one fourth (100 yd Individual Medley). He also improved his free style time to a silver time. The freestyle win was a total surprise! We had a whole cheering section for him.....grandparents, uncles, aunts...and boy, did we make alot of noise!

Okay.....back to the riddle. Hey....water....gallons.....uh....hmm....maybe I'd better get him up....he's the water rat in this house!
