I probably wont be around the DIS much for the time being. I'll check in once in awhile and will be around the first week of January, but then we go on our trip, and things will start getting busy for us at the house. Now comes the time when we have to do lots of work out there.

Someone told me it's because I use Netscrape! Am I the only one that uses it?

Today the neighborhood kids will be decorating one of the 20 gingerbread houses I constructed yesterday...then my kids go to the orthodontist....

Two of my older nieces slept over here last night. We went to watch Erin at skating practice and then had a nice dinner out.

I think they were up until the wee hours catching up with each other.

Katie slept at Grandma's last night with the little ones.

They are all having so much fun!

It is nice, Diane, having the gang all together.

Christmas day with the little ones is going to be very special, I'm sure.

I am envious of those with visiting family also. Mine are too far away and DH's family is Jewish!


I'd like to ask for some good thoughts today for my FIL. He is having surgery to remove a malignancy is his lungs.

I have one sister but we have a large extended family. Most of my dad's side are older than me and their children are adults. Kinda betwixt and between. DH's side....he has 4 brothers. We will see them Christmas Eve and Day.
