Good Morning OK & Riddlers! How is everyone?
The kids are getting ready for middle school today & trying not to take their backpacks because they will be searching anyone who brings one today. Yesterday there was a threat found scratcherd on the bathroom wall at their school saying it was doomed with today's date. They have had bomb sniffing dogs in the school & apparantly searched all the lockers overnight. As you all know I have 2 extra kids that I'm sending off to that school this week, I was wondering if it was alright to make the decision to send the kids that aren't mine today but I think that is what their parents would do. I'm glad that the school took the threat seriously and are being cautious.

Lars - I'm sure it will all come to nothing, and I pray that too. I sure can't blame the school for being cautious....not in this day and age.

Two years ago we went through a terrible school year here. Bomb threats were being called in at least once a week. It was a completely disrupted school year, filled with anxiety and tension. Nothing ever happened, by the school district had to be viligant and cautious.

BTW, my friend and her kids decided they WILL keep their DVC trip to WDW in the plans for January. They decided Tom would have wanted that. I think they will actually be spending a few days with us in our villa too after their ressie is up. Their first WDW trip was with us for the Millennium celbration Dec./Jan. 1999/2000.
