Pants beat me here today!!! It's a chilly and wet day in my neck of the woods as well...I was really was spolied by those few beautiful days we had!

Sounds like all you NYers are having what we had last weekend. It has been beautiful here the past 3 days. Chilly at night, but sunny and 50's-60's during the day.

The roofers are supposed to be back today. I sure hope they acutally come this time! The mud is drying up out at the house. Fire doors for between the garage and kennel, garage and basement, and garage and house arrived yesterday.

We have a little book that we first got when Matthew was a baby. It's a Tubby book, made of plastic and it floats in the tub. I've read it so many times that I have the little poem memorized...

I'm a little airplane
I like to fly up high.
I've got a little pilot;
he's a flying guy.
We eat pie
up in the sky.
We fly by night.
We fly by day.
And when we're done
we hit the hay!

Not a clue for the riddle, but Kim's pie comment brought this book to mind this morning! This was the first book each of my kids "pretended" to read! They were able to memorize it too!

Thank you everyone for your continued prayers and best wishes for my mom. They did allow my dad in yesterday to help my mom get settled. I aam very glad they did, because my mom can not get around on her own. Even just walking from one room to the next she needs someone at her side to ensure she does not fall. My dad had to wear all the protective gear, but at least they did let him in. They have also said he can come in tonight for a few minutes after the surgery. I however can still not go in.

Sorry you can't go, Mickey - but I hope your Dad is allowed in to offer comfort and a familiar, friendly presence. Please let us know how everything goes.

Good morning everyone.. I have been among the missing.. this moving thing is huge and I hope I survive it... so far no offers on this house yet but lots of interest... we are pretty stressed but moving forward with our plans..and I am slowly cleaning out the basement and hating my children for all the stuff that they have there.. LOL..

I can relate, Marsha! I have been trying to clean out 23 years of accumulation for a year now! I hope it is all cleaned out by the time we have to move!
