Hey Willy...how's it going in your neck of the woods? How nice of you to share your Nyquil with OK...hope he's feeling better.
Just back from the LAST basketball game for DS6. All the boys are now off to the prep school my brother teaches at to watch the "big kids" play ball.
Just me and Meg...think we're going to head out to grocery shop before it starts raining. I'm sure EVERYONE else in the world also has that idea.
Forecast for another 6 inches tonight (snow) followed by 1-2 inches of rain...uck....

Wow.......we just had a phone call from a reporter from the Washington Post. He was trying to locate a local radio station owner who shares our last name and I'm sure he wanted observations about the tragedy. Another local station had given away tickets to the concert. They had employees there and one of them, a DJ, has not been located.

They've begun to release names of injured and missing and some names are familiar but no relatives or friends. There are just so many people involved I'm sure we'll know others.

Our church pastor is a fire department chaplain and has been at the scene. He was also assigned to the Pentagon after 9-11 as he is a general in the Air National Guard. As each body has been recovered everyone removes their hat and a prayer is said.

Oh, I feel good. na na na na na na na. Like I knew that I would. na na na na na na na.

I just tried on my swim suit and didn't run screaming from the mirror.

I have been wearing size 12 shorts with the elastic insert in the waist. Well, I dug to the bottom of the drawer to a pile of size 10, very nice Lands End shorts. Tried them on, and they fit.

Woo Hoo, this weight loss thing is really worthwhile.

Well, there is DIPP. (Days Inn Pool Party at RiddleCon) And we go to the beach for a week every summer. And it gets very HOT and HUMID here in Maryland. So, no place special but it will be nice to get back into all these nice clothes I have.

Gail-I'm saddened by this tragedy too. I can only imagine how horrible it must be for those of you who live local & knew some of the deceased and/or injured. {{hugs}} for you.

I saw "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" this week actually I saw it twice this week & I LOVED it!! it was the funniest movie I've seen in a long time! If you haven't seen it yet.....Go TODAY

Donna, we just met up at Fazoli's. A nice "fast food" Italian place. She had picked up the antenna topper from Valentine's Day that I wasn't able to find so I bought her lunch to thank her for it.

We just watched an old favorite on DVD....."Roxanne" with Steve Martin & Darryl Hannah. I really enjoy that one!

Congrats on the weight loss Carol!! I know what a great feeling it is to lose enough to go down a size. Last year I lost about 30lbs and went from a size 16-18 to a size 10-12. What a great accomplishment for you!! I also love the idea of the list your DH made for you! What a sweetie!

I really liked the movie ....... a friend taped it off a DVD so I got to see those extras too... it was kind of funny .... they had a segment on it "English to English Dictionary" translating the British into our English .... I knew quite a few of them but one that I wondered about while I was watching and the dictionary explained was "taking a piss" which meant "joking" .... I had never heard that one before !

Now I'm going to check out Trading Spaces for awhile ...... for any of you who watch the show, Hilde is designing tonight which usually means some wacky stuff will be going on ......... like stapling flowers to a bathroom wall or papering a kitchen with
wine labels.....

Then if it doesn't get too foggy around here I might go out for awhile and sing a little karaoke !
