He sure doesn't look the same or similar now. I had my back to the TV then turned around expecting to see a redhead.

My dad was a redhead. When he was about 40 his hair turned brown but his mustache and beard stayed red. Way better than going grey.

Yes he did!!! I had read this thread BEFORE I saw the float!!! Otherwise I would have no clue what that was about. I had never heard of Rick Rolling before this thread.

It was on NBC -- I was flipping channels between CBS & NBC's coverage.

The announcers had said something to the effect of pay attention that they had heard there would be a special musical number or something to that effect -- so as soon as I saw it figured this was the float.

Then I heard Cheese say "I like Rick Rolling!" at the end.
