I agree Pa@okw95, the boards were different back then and that's not a slight to the wonderful people that are still here from the days of Rich. I usually do a lot more lurking than posting, and I absolutely loved to read any thread that Rich was involved in and felt little need to add my two cents because he did such a great job. His take on BWV was hilarious. HAPPY BIRTHDARY RICH and I too hope you feel the good wishes being sent to you.

All of us who knew Rich enjoyed his posts and his unique wit. Rich Hyams was a special person and a special case. For that reason we've left this thread here for awhile for everyone to see. It has now received enough views that everyone has had a chance to view and post. This special thread is now ready to close.

Normally a thread such as this belongs on the In Memoriam board, but because Rich was so much a part of the DVC we all know, we're going to leave it here on the DVC-Mousecellaneous board so users can find it more easily should anyone want to review the posts again.

Just a reminder that the DVC-Mousecellaneous board is not a general discussion board but is for DVC-discussions only, and only on DVC topics that do not fit on either the DVC-Operations board or the DVC-Planning board. Appropriate board topic categories can be found in the sticky posts at the top of each of the DVC-board forums.
