Richsrd Petty Driving Experience question

Has anyone tried the Richard Petty Driving Experience? Is it worth the money? Are there size/weight restrictions (do you have to be able to crawl in through the window)?- thanks for any info

My husband did this last year. He loved it. If you go on he web site 1800bepetty.com you can find all the info. you need. Yes you have to climb through the window. If you go through undercovertourist you will save money. That's where I brouhgt mine from. It was almost $400 but my husband puts up with me going to Disney. So I surprised him with it. I think it was well worth the money and so does he.

My husband was scheduled to do this on one of our trips a few years back. It poured the morning of his drive, they were super nice and gave him a ride around the track in the van then drove him back to the BWI. Since it was near the end of our vacation he took a raincheck which he used at MIS (Michigan International Speedway). The Petty program was awesome, they even gave my kids and I a ride around the track in the van. DH loved it! And since he did it at MIS a 2 mile track he got up to higher speeds than they can at Disney as it is only 1 mile.

If you do it at Disney, schedule early in your trip in case of rain.

There are weight restrictions - gotta be able to fit into those cars.

My DH is too large to do it, but he really wants to. He has a NASCAR credit card and has enough points for a ride-along - so he's making ME do it on our September trip. He wants to live vicariously through me! I'm terrified!!
