Rich's "Legacy" at Epcot

Hello All,
It's been a while since I last posted and I hope this note finds everyone well and prepared for the holidays.

Just wanted to share a picture of the 'Legacy' that I got for Rich. I finally mustered up the courage to go to Epcot (without the family) and see it in person the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Also had a chance to stay at the DVC Beach Club - but will write a trip report in another thread!

Anyway, here it is....if you want to see it in person, it's in Section E, about three rows back from the Spaceship Earth ride, on the left hand side.

I was just in the Memoriam section yesterday looking back at Rich's threads, wondering how you and Jacqui were doing. In some ways, it's hard to believe it's been a year. I'm glad you were able to go and see the legacy, and I look forward to your trip report. I'll be there in February, and I'll have to go by and see it. When I was there this past May, I said a little "hello" to Rich when I was at the Haunted Mansion. I'll be at OKW in Feb., so I'll say "hey" when I go by the main pool! Have a happy holiday and know that many of us here still keep you and your family in our thoughts.

Im fairly new to regularly posting on these boards,so I didnt really know Rich.. but i read back through some of the posts and firstly.. YOU are one incredible woman! Secondly, I can only imagine the pain you and your daughter have had to endure this year.

I partly understand as I lost my mother 2 years ago aged 62, and I struggle every day with that loss.

Rich seemed like he was an incredible man, and I think that your leave a legacy is a perfect lasting tribute for him.

So good to hear from you again, Lisa. I'll be sure to look it up when we go down over New Years. Too bad this isn't on the DVC board for his friends there to see. We'll be at OKW again, but not in Rich's favorite GV this time! Just a 2 bedroom for us.

I often think of Rich when visiting the boards. He was unique and some of his opinions come back to me from time to time. Especially his GV/OKW threads. Rich lives on. Thanks for keeping us updated. Nancy

I thought of Rich over Thanksgiving. We stayed at the BWV and got one of the very last rooms there! Yes Rich was right....those halls are waayy tooo loooong! THe best for you and your daughter.
