Richie is getting better

Just wanted to let everyone know Richie is doing better today.
He had trouble during surgery when his B/P dropped to 40/10. According to the Dr they almost lost him a few times. The surgeon said he was very lucky he was on his way to the hospital to visit me when he had his 4th heart attack because if he was anywhere else they wouldn't have been able to save him. They hooked him up to a perfusion machine that filtered his blood and moved it back to his body. They finally unhooked the machine tonight.
He is still in MICU and will be there through tonight. Tomorrow they move him to a cardiac floor and give him the speeches he will need to live a normal life like no more smoking, eat better, etc... And discharge is looking like it will be on Tuesday. He will have no restrictions other than taking better care of himself.
Thank you all for the prayers for him, I appreciate the notes and prayers for both of us.

I am so glad to hear he is on the mend....talk about being in the right place at the right time....he had an angel in the car w/ him...

And I hope you are doing better...try not to tire yourself out..our prayers are w/ both of you...

Peggie, I am so glad to read Richie is doing better. I certainly hope you haven't overdone it. Hopefully you are doing better, too.
