A few months back I posted that DH got rained out of his WDW RPDE, he was quite bummed out but was able to reschedule the ride but back home here in Michigan. Well today was his day at MIS.
Although I can not report on how the RPDE at WDWSpeedway is, I just wanted to let people know how great the Richard Petty experience is. Their staff is very encouraging, friendly, knowledgable and funny. They truely strive to make it a memorable experience. I'm sure those qualities are the same whether you race at WDW or elsewhere. I took our two kids and they really make them feel at home with balloon, a ride around the track in a van etc....
Although we were disappointed to be rained out originally, DH was thrilled to drive on the 2 mile track and was able to reach 144 mph!!!!!!
If you have any interest in trying this at all, we would say "go for it!".
