richard petty experience/licence

I am hopeing to arrange a surprise for my dh to drive the experience in October, does he need a special driving licence/an international one or something

What a luck man he is.

I have done the cheapest option. Just Ride A long as a passenger so can not comment but I think you only nead a full driving licence.

The only thing I suggest is book it early on in your holiday.
The reason I say this is if it rains heavy on the day all racing will be cancelled and you will need to book for another day.

I only had 3 laps and it was well worth it, he will love it !!!!

I suggest making a search of the forum using "Richard Petty" and you will find many threads about this.

Go on make him a happy man. Just don't complain if he goes on about it for day on end after...

thanx poohstix I'm going to book for dh, got the number and spoke last week, just to find out where they are, but forgot to ask that question to them, I know its a lot of money, but my hubby (2 a certain degree) lets me and kids go and do what we want, so its only fair that i do this for him, only have 4 weeks to go so am so excited not had a holls since going in October 2000 for 2 weeks, this will be 3 weeks as got family in Tampa, so not doubt be in touch and will let you know the experience many thanks lynne x

Oh....I am green with envy
He will really enjoy it and come back with a grin from ear to ear...
You can watch him drive as well and this has no charge. So if you can video it for him it would be a great momento.

When I finished my trip my DW bought me a Richard Petty Baseball cap as a reminder. (Buy at the track) and placed it on my head as soon as I got out. I wear it all the time. A nice touch I thought.

Also do not forget to buy one of their framed photos they take just before he enters the car.

We are visiting Disney in November and I may just have to do it again
