Richard Petty Exotic Driving Experience

Has anyone done this yet? Just wondering how you get there from your hotel and about how long the whole process takes. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I'm thinking about getting this for my husband for his birthday when we're down there in Sept.

I haven't done it, but the Richard Petty track is located in the MK parking lot to give you an idea of how long it will take to get there. You enter through the MK parking toll booths and then it is on your left just before you would actually get to where you would park for MK.

I haven't done it yet, Know people that have. Planing on it next trip. If he is into cars or racing, He will love it.

I haven't done it, but the Richard Petty track is located in the MK parking lot.

A lot of people don't know or realize that the track is right outside of MK.
I won a bet with some friends that have been to Disney several times.
Argued with me that there was no track next to MK where you drive in.
Dinner was on them.

So can I take the bus from my hotel to Magic Kingdom and walk there?

Well the bus from your hotel takes you to MK gates...You would have to moneral over to the TTC and then take the parking shuttle out as far as you could...I might tell the shuttle driver and they "might" let you off closer to Richard Petty speedway while they are turning around at the end of the drop offs....The race track is in the depths of the parking lot

Sounds like it might be difficult. Is there an easier way for someone staying on property with no car? Taxi might be a better way?

When my husband did this, he met a specific "Richard Petty driving Experience" shuttle at the TTC. I believe he was instructed to walk towards the dog kennels and the shuttle would be right there to pick him up. He confirmed the shuttle several times thru our resort concierge and they always told him the shuttle will be there waiting for you! He was nervous finding it!

I would indicate when booking that you need the shuttle pick up from the TTC. They do not pick up at the resorts.
