Richard Petty driving

Just wondered if anybody here has been to the rochard opetty driving experience?
I have been looking at doing the 8 Lap drive of the Nascar for $400
would like to hear peoples experioence of doing this,

I booked the rookie 8 lap for my hubbys 40th birthday 2006.

He said it was the best present ever and absolutely LOVED it

It was great for all of us as family are allowed in to the pre video then when the drivers are being trained we were taken for a drive around the track.
There was a spectator area to sit and watch as the drivers went around with drinks provided.

A presentation is then made to drivers giving a certificate of their speed.

Expensive but money well spent and if you are an annual pass holder you get discount too

Thanx for your reply guys, I'll have a read of your trip report when I get the chance.
I thought i'd give it a go this year as I'm now a bit older and due to rediculous amounts of overtime I have done and great exchange rate I've got the money to do it

I bought this for my Husband as his wedding pressie and needless to say he loved it. He said it was the best thing he's ever done.
It was pricey but i'm so glad I got it for him, he still talks about it.
