Hi, this is my first post, so I'll apologize in advance if I screw anything up.

We're staying at DW May 1-5, followed by a DC May 6-9. We're driving our own car, so can anyone tell me how long the drive will take from DW to the DCL terminal?

Also, I'd like to surprise DH with the Richard Petty Driving Experience. If I sign him up for the 8:00 Rookie Experience, will it be over in time for us to get to the DCL terminal at a decent time to board?

Thanks in advance!

The drive from Orlando to the Port should not take you any more than about an hour......Andy

Click on "skip straight to scheduling"

It says the Rookie Experience last three hours.

If you schedule the 8am slot, that should get you to the port by 1pm, allowing a little extra time.

Good Luck!

If you could combine the two, you'd get to the port far faster, LOL. Have a great time.

Dreamer is correct...the Rookie is 3 hours so you'll be fine getting to the port. It's a great experience for NASCAR fans or people with lead feet! :D

THANK YOU for all your replies! They were very helpful...now I just have to worry about keeping it a secret until Christmas!

Thanks again!

if you could schedule another morning that would be better. I did it on a morning when I didn't have to rush to the cruise. We left for the cruise at about ten, 10:30 taking the B-Line and arrived about 11:30. Checked in and were among the first to arrive. I don't know if you have any kids, but they had till five to enjoy the lunch and boat. It was like gaining a whole day. If not you'll be fine. One thing when driving on the B-Line when you get to a fork in the road "GO RIGHT" towards Coco Beach.
