Rice Owls Win College World Series

Congratulations to the Rice Owls for winning the College World Series against Stanford. This is Rice's first national title.

"The smallest school in Division I-A is now the biggest name in college baseball. Rice won it first NCAA team championship in any sport yesterday by defeating Stanford 14 - 2 in the thrid game of their best-of-three final. It was the largest margin of victory in a College World Series final game."
