Ribbed Tank Tops and Transfers

I am going to be making several t-shirts for me and the Fam for our September trip. I wanted to put mine on a tank top instead of a t-shirt. Has anyone ever used iron on transfers on ribbed tank tops? I was thinking they might not transfer well because of the ribbing. Any thoughts?

I have not tried using a ribbed tank top, but I don't think it would turn out very well due to the ribbed texture. What if you were to use a knit tank top? I make one for our last trip and it turned out really nice.

hmm.. id think it would be tough to do on a ribbed tank.. any time ive done transfers for myself i do them on the knit tanks..
