Well. it took almost 2 weeks to start this report again, but here goes if anyone is interested.

The rainy adventure

Well after settling into the room and checking everything out, we decided to hit MGM when ----
It started to pour! Not just trickling rain but heavy hard hitting drops! We decided to skip MGM that night as we did not want to start out vacation on that note and set about exploring the hotel instead. I suppose it was a good thing we did as it was lightining and i for one do not want to be out in a steel filled park in the lightining!

We walked the whole hotel and looked at all the savannahs. We came to the conclusion that we really did have one of the best room for our tastes, and DH says that he wishes that he could buy the room and live there! LOL

I'd like to add that my son was totally fascinated with Disney televison. They have a few channels and one of them plays music videos and stuff. His absoulute favorite was a song that to this day is etched into my memory ( god help me )! The Baha Men's " Who Woke Snow White Up?" It played every 5 minutes and he can sing the whole song and dance to it. Even now that we are home he keeps asking me for it.........

The next day............

Magic Kingdom

What can i say? We had a blast! this was probably the highlight of our trip. We had breakfast at 8:00 at Crystal Palace. We had a seat that was right smack in front of Cinderella's Castle, what a wonderful view! We really liked the food, and I thought that the characters were very friendly and spent a lot of time with my son. He didn't eat much, but i wasn't mad, i was having too much fun watching him to be mad!

We went from there to ride Winnie The Pooh. The park was still pretty empty so we got right on. Sean ( my DS ) was in love. we rode tht ride 3 times in a row and got another fastpass for later. Then we did Dumbo, also a fun ride for Sean.

The one thing that really surprised me was Sean's apparent lack of fear on some of the more "thrilling rides" . We rode Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Goofy's Barnstormer, and other rides at different parks whic will appear in another segment. He never showed fear at any of them! In fact he asked to ride Haunted Mansion again! Mind you he is only 2 and 3/4.

We did lunch at Pecos's Bill's- and i must say that it was easily the most crowded place in the park! Everyone was there! And i also have to say that i felt that the food, was a little overrated. But it wasn't horrible or anything. A lot of the stuff at the famous "fixin's bar" was cold or old looking and the ketchup/mayo dispensers were dirty.

Later, we did Peter Pan, Legend of the Lion King ( he loved that) and Aladdin. I was kinda dissapointed in this ride- it was a lot like Dumbo which was fine. But i do not like that the front seat controls one thing and the back controls another. We had a very shy girl of maybe 1 and 1/2 behind us so we were afraid to really make the carpet move, and they did virtually nothing with the tilt for the same reason. They sould have made the carpets smaller and more like dumbo so that everyone can have the ride they want.

We went back to the hotel for an afternoon nap and returned at about 5:00. I had forgotten that this was the Night of Joy. I have two words- NEVER AGAIN! I'm sorry if this is offensive, but they were possibly the rudest people i ever saw.

We were supposed to have dinner at the Plaza Restaurant, but it was so crowded with NOJ'ers that we opted to skip it and actuallly went back to the Crystal Palace. I will be the first to admit that the characters were a little more rushed, but it still was overall our favourite charater meal at WDW. At one point in the dinner Sean got down from his chair, and danced off with Winnie the Pooh around the restaurant. That alone made it priceless.

I have only one other thing for tonight and i will warn up front----- gross and possibly will start a flame.

Right as we were leaving for the night, we stopped at a restroom to use the facilities. Well ther was like 20 teenage girls in there, all with NOJ wristbands on, and DRUNK! They were staggering around and moaning and reeked of alcohol. Then one of them got sick- and it started a chain reaction. I have a pretty strong stomach, but it put me off my recently eaten dinner a little. From reports i have heard and other experiances i have had with NOJer's why does Disney allow this year after year?

That is all for now, it's been a long report--- sorry! :)
Next report-
Epcot- aka- The day sherrie got food poisoning at the Coral Reef
