Our family has been on 6 cruises. All Disney, 1 Norwegian. Would never do Norwegian again. We love Disney. My 50th Bday is next summer and I really want to do a European cruise. Unfortunately the Disney itineraries don't work for us with my daughter's dance competitions, husband's work schedule and other daughter's college return date. We are looking at the Splendour or Rhapsody which both do Greece Itineraries. Would love feedback. Really want a fabulous vacation and do not want to be disappointed. Looking at booking junior suites.

Rhapsody and Splendour are sister ships. They don't have some of the bells and whistles of the huge megaships, but they are lovely. My first RCI cruise was on Splendour in 2005, and I loved the ship. I have also sailed on sister ships Grandeur in 2009 and Legend in 2014.

You can read the Cruise Critic reviews as well as member reviews here: http://www.cruisecritic.com/reviews/cruiseline.cfm?CruiseLineID=32

One other suggestion is to check out Celebrity's itineraries in Europe. I especially love their Solstice-class ships.

as they are similar sips, decide by ports. If you give the dates and/or ports, we can say which we think would be better. I went on Vision (also sister ship) in the Baltics. Food, service, etc. was fine--but it's the ports in Europe that make the difference, IMHO. I know you said never again NCL, but we sailed on NCL Epic last summer for W. Med. and really like it. Food quite good, very good entertainment.

We sailed Rhapsody in a jr suite this past June, to Alaska. Thought it was a lovely ship and service was great. Food in the Windjammer (buffet) was awful, but main dining and specialty restaurants were great. DD loved the teen club. The themed parties in the Centrum were fun. 4 people in a jr suite would have enough get-around room and storage, but the pull out bed is pretty small - can't imagine two sharing it.

Thanks everyone for the input. We would be booking 2 junior suites-3 people in each. I am glad to hear the clubs for kids are decent. My kids love them on Disney. My oldest did the college group last one and made tons of friends. My youngest is 10 now.

Just so you know, the kid clubs stop at 17. There is not a college club. We had a 19 yo in our larger group, and she was miserable - couldn't go in the bars, couldn't hang with her cousins. But, she's not particularly outgoing anyway, so ymmv. But I wouldn't want you to be sold on this ship thinking there is a college/ya club.
