RFTT Mini WISH Meet

Anyone available on Sat to get together and hangout for a bit? Could be something simple at DTD or Boardwalk that doesn't require a park ticket.

I keep checking SWA airfare, hoping that the cost will go down so that I can get one of those RftT medals, but no luck. Darn! Have a blast and enjoy the race.

Mel, Although at this point I'm not in the RFTT, I'd be up for a chance to meet some WISHers.
DH and I are participating in Expedition Everest Challenge, and I'm undecided (don't wanna get up that early) about RFTT. However, I'm always interested in a meet.

I took the leap and registered today... I hope I can keep the 15 min pace!!! I'm ok w/ 15.30 or 16 but 15 and below can be a struggle for me...

I like the Boardwalk or DD idea. I'll probably visit EP that day so Boardwalk would work out well for me...then I would have the chance to see that area. I think it is so pretty... I'm glad this race goes around the Boardwalk area!

I'm up for whatever... I'm a loner this trip. Just let us know!

Oh Judy - it is killing me to miss the last opportunity to get this medal. I'm going to keep checking airfare. Just my luck I'll finally get a bargain and the race will be full

I am pretty sure we will be able to come down for RFFT (as long as my grandmother does well with surgery Thursday and we don't have to get to FL earlier for some reason).

How about Big River Grille for the meet? Just a suggestion since Beaches N Cream is WAY too tempting for me and I love the Boardwalk area.

I have never been to Big River Grille, but I am not sure it would work for all interested parties.

I will be in DTD shopping Saturday evening so if you do the meet there I will be sure to stop and say hello.
And I have a question: how big or small is the expo for this race? Do they sell t-shirts, hats, etc??

Depending on where it's held we may be able to attend. We are doing the KTTK tour on Saturday and I've read you are on your feet all day.

This is towards the end of our trip so I'm sure talking to other people will be a welcomed addition to our trip.
