RFC or T-Rex??

I'm trying to get some opinions on which o choose. The funny thing we have been to both at Disney before. Once at RFC and TREX for dinner and once at RFC for breakfast (the best of all 3 meals btw).
The reason I'm asking is because we will be bringing my son's friend with us...the boys will be 14. This will be his friends first time to Disney. We also don't live anywhere near an area that has either of these places. I'm also needing opinions because our only time at TREX we sat in what my husband calls the migraine room..So basically my only trip to TREX wasn't very memorable. Just looking for opinions.

You'll probably get a lot of opinions on here, but for the very reason you mentioned, I would go with RFC if you are choosing between the two. We've been to both twice and TREX is just way too loud. We literally couldn't even hold a conversation in there. I couldn't wait to get out. We went to RFC for lunch a few trips back and, while I think the food is mediocre, the service was good, the atmosphere is fun and DS and I could talk to each other!!

Well they sort of have to tag along with wherever we are going. I'm just trying to figure out which to choose.

Thank you...I was leaning that way as well. I know the food is just so so but I have a leftover gift card so I figured we should use it up.
