Rewards dollars for photopass?

Does anyone know if you can use your Disney Visa Rewards Dollars to buy the Photopass CD? I had been saving them so DH and I could do a tour and as I went to book it I found out that you couldn't use them for tours. Figured I'd check on my plan B as well. Thanks!

I just "ordered" to get my rewards card for the 1st time last week for our upcoming trip. I thought it was like a credit card with a cash credit to be used for anything. What or where can you use it at at WDW? Any experiences? Thanks.

It doesn't sound like we can use our Disney Rewards for this. I just copied this from the Disney Photo Pass website:

"DisneyPhotoPass.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards for payment. Debit cards which carry the Visa or MasterCard logo and do not require a PIN number are also accepted. Disney Rewards are not redeemable as payment. If you do not have a credit card or debit card and would like to order prints, we suggest visiting www.Visa.com for information on how to purchase a Visa Gift Card at a financial institution in your area. Once you reach the Visa website, select Personal Gift Card to review information on the benefits and where to buy this prepaid card which then could be used like a debit card to make a purchase at DisneyPhotoPass.com. "

I wish I would have known that they don't take the rewards dollars for photopass and the tours before I paid off the rest of my trip in full.

Hmm I was wondering if you purchased the CD/photopass items on property if you could charge that to your room and then use your rewards $$ on the account. I know you can use the $$ at the hotels.

I was thinking the same thing--there are several places on site that you can buy them & I'm not certain, but would think you could use your rewards card there. When we were at the Epcot photo place in January they had the CDs--the only thing is you'll have to do it at the end after you've taken all of your pictures.

The PhotoPass CD is $99.95 and contains all the pictures that were taken by PhotoPass photographers during your visit. You get the photo rights along with this cd, so you can have pictures printed from it anywhere. If you don't want to purchase the entire CD, you can order specific prints as well. I don't know how much these cost, but maybe someone else on here can help with that.

Note - there is also a PhotoMovie option as well.
