Rewards Credit Cards

Hi!

We are looking into getting a credit card for wedding/honeymoon purchases and we want a card that will give back rewards for purchases. Can anyone recommend anything (besides the disney visa card)? What type of rewards do you get back?

We have the Chase Flexible Rewards card. So far, we've been happy with it. You get back gift cards for your points (they also offer a statement credit and some other stuff). We use the gift cards to buy fun stuff (Best Buy), to do home repairs or decorating(Home Depot or Lowes, Bed Bath and Beyond), to buy stuff we need (Target, Petsmart), etc.

It may not be the best one out there, but it works for us.

We use the Chase Freedom. It gives you 3% percent on groceries and gas, and 1% on other purchases. I get a check back, and if you let it accumulate to 200 you get a check for $250, otherwise you can cash in 50 points for $50.
