Is it just me or does this whole reward thing take way too much time? Is it really worth it? Maybe I'm just in a funk today. All of a sudden, I've gone from SR & Netwinner to trying all sorts of other sites and I just wonder if the time invested in all this is worth it? How do you all manage it?

For me it is worth it. I do them when watching tv or just sitting online. To me, if I was going to be sitting there anyway, may as well click and read a few offers and get paid. I wouldn't go quitting my dayjob or anything and it really is just $$ for extra things, like Disney, or recently I've been getting Home Depot gc to do some painting and yard stuff.

I think, if you're recently doing alot of sites, that may burn you out. I would imagine it would be tough keeping track of everything so you don't duplicate. That would burn me out!

I stick to SR and CashDuck, because they offer different things so it is easy to keep track. I spend maybe 45 minutes per day and avg. about $60 per month. Somedays when SR is running a contest I may spend more, but that is more fun than work. If you haven't joined yet, their forum is great also.

I know what you mean. I remember when there was not enough time in the day to do all the new offers that kept popping up. Surveys and shopping help but it is getting harder and harder to earn much with so few new offers out there. Plus, offers that use to credit so well ( like MID's) are a waste of time now.

One of the hard things about any type of rewards program is that you can earn the most really fast out of the gate and then it starts to trickle down because not as much new stuff comes out. Plus, you usually get a sign on bonus. So your first cashout is generally pretty easy. The good news is that most programs will not disable your account for being inactive for awhile. So you can back off and then go back a couple of months later and see what is new.

Try to look for survey opportunities. Those tend to renew more than the freebie and signup type things because new surveys are always being added to the various programs. And surveys tend to be the lowest risk, most legitimate way to earn money anyway. I have some sites I do (like NFO/Mysurvey) where I may not do any surveys for 3-4 months and then can all of a sudden go in and do a bunch really fast to get a check.

Also maybe try something similar but a different route. Like BzzAgent. You don't earn "rewards" per se, but you get really good coupons and sample items. And they add new things each month.

Hope that helps. :)

Thanks for all your comments and feedback. Maybe I was just in a funk that day :)

I think I joined too many new ones at the same time and felt overwhelmed.

By the way, I'm still doing SR :)

I feel the same way.... I signed up for so many programs at first that it became overwhelming. I narrowed it down to only a few--SR included and was able to make extra money for our Disney Trip in April. However I came back to find that one of my $50 reward cards got lost in the mail and although they tried to retrieve it for me it's offically lost. So now I am just having such a hard time trying to get motivated again. I think I will take a break for awhile. ..... Heading to Disney next year though so I will have to snap out of it soon:)

Oh my goodness ! That certainly would take the wind out of my sails for awhile! All that work for nothing. So close too. I always cashout for Disney GC's instead of Disney dollars b/c I've read that the DD's are not replaceable which led me to believe that the GC's were. Now I see you can get stung either way. I'm so sorry.

Actually, BzzAgent.com changed their format effective yesterday :) YOu can convert your bzz points over to MyPoints now.

I think that is exactly what happens. I also do NFO and have been doing really well there lately. I've never heard of BzzAgent. Going to check it out. Thanks:thumbsup2
