Revised ressie from glitch rate paperwork

Hi all... I just got me "new" ressie confirmation from the glitch rate deal. I kept some of my dates witht the one night at the lower rate. My confirmations aren't showing that I have made a deposit on them when infact it was put down on 8/27 when the glitch happened. It is saying that I owe the dep by 9/27!! I have Disney on the phone now and they are't showing it either... they are looking to see what happened now..
 
They checked my ressies. Even though my confirmation shows that I owe my deposit I didn't on 2 of them. They did switch the credit card info on it, just hasn't reflected on paper yet... but..... one of them, they canceled & sent me a check!!!! :confused3 I never canceled it & to date, I haven't gotten a refund check. I have no clue what happened & neither did the cm. He called accounting & accounting said they thought it was a cancelation, couldn't find the credit card number that it was charged to so they issued a refund in the form of a check. None of it makes any sence to me. People...watch your ressies... from the glitch rate. Either accounting really doesn't know what it is doing, or somehow they are trying to get back the one night stay they have given with the glitch rate. I don't know. All I know is I paid my dep, they canceled my ressie & are sending me a check...when it was paid with a CC???? If this happens to anyne else, let me know...
 
Have you checked your reservation on line? Does it look correct there? I am sure that this has been an accounting night mare for them.

I agree they are having accounting problems. I paid my inital deposit of $11.44 then when I rebooked when Disney called I paid the rest of the deposit to equal the first nights new rate. I called a couple hours later and paid the entire thing off just to be safe. I noticed yesterday they had refunded my initial deposit of 11.44 so I called and they told me I was all set and they have no idea why they deposited the 11.44 back and am showing a 0.00 balance due. She reviewed the reservation and everything was accurate. When I paid the new deposit rate the 11.44 was added to it so technically I still owe them 11.44. I did get my confirmation in the mail today and it shows a balance of 0.00 due. So hopefully when I show up in a few weeks I will have no problems. :confused3 Thats too bad that happened to you A Mickey Fan. I hope you can get it worked out.

All the ressies that were made with the glitch started with an R. Once they were switched (after my call), the became 10 digit ressies with no R. They aren't showing up on the web site. When I log the ressie number in, it will show the ressie, but nothing dealing with money.. just the date, resort & guests going, no money at all ...

I once made a $50 payment online and they chareged my entire balance. They did refund me the difference but it took a couple of day :paw:

Are you sure it's 10 and not 12 digits? After you log in, you should see a hyperlink (the resrvation number underlined) and if you click on that it should give you the payment details that you are looking for.

I am not able to see my payment details online either. I too had a reservation beggining with a R and now have a 12 digit reservation number. I can access my vacation online but is does not show anything as far as payment details. It only shows who is going and where we are staying.

I did miscount. It is 12 but there is no link that will bring up any payment on those ressies. They aren't even listed under My Disney Vacations. I have to manually put the numbers in where the area is to find them. When they come up, there is no link to click on. It isn't like the other ressies that showed up. It might take them a while to fix them so they do show, I don't know. All I can tell you is that one of them my credit card was never transfered to & I would have never known had I not called & questioned why it was saying I hadn't placed a deposit. On 2 of them, after the CM checked, he was able to see the deposit, but the Oct 16th one, there was no deposit. Infact the only way he found out there was a check issued to me was by going into the old R number ressie & following that to it's cancelation (actually transfer to the 12 didgit, but must cancel the R to do it), then by calling the accounting department. All 3 that came had the same info on them, what I am saying is don't take it for granted that it was done correctly, 1 out of 3 on mine weren't. Accounting told the CM they sent me a check, I haven't gotten the check but I have gotten a credit card refund on one of my other ressies that I really did cancel & they also show on my credit card an addition deposit that I had to make when I added days at the regular rate, yet no check has arrived. I am to wait until next monday & call the CM back.
 
Ughhhh- I got my paperwork yesterday and it says I owe $99.90 and I paid in full when they called me back to honor the one night....

I left them a message yesterday but no call back yet. I am going to call again today.

I looked up mine on the website..I have a 12 digit and an R reservation and neither one of them shows payment details...at the bottom there is a section that says "Invoice" under where the names are listed. I guess the only way to verify pymnts is to call, like you have. I think if they cancel a reservation (your R booking) it automatically refunds the deposit..if they want to transfer it to another res they have to tell accounting BEFORE they cancel it..but the only type of payment that can be transferred from an R reservation to a 12 digit reservation is a check payment (or money order) so I guess they would have refunded you cc payment on the R reservation anyways. You should receive you refund check within 7-10 business days..the cc refunds are probably already there because it was an electronic transfer and not sent through the mail like the check. Not sure why that check refund was not just electronic sent to your cc as well, though. I would definitely ask about that.

Maybe that paperwork was sent before you paid in full. That happens often, I would just call and ask it could be as simple as that (I hope ;) )

it couldn't have been, we did everything on the phone at once. She changed over the reservation and took my payment in full. I called and spoke with her today...and she said it is fine....I am still leery and don't want to show up and be told I owe a balance.

They were to be transfered to the other ressie as per the CM that did all the changes for me. 2 out of 3 of them were transfered, only 1 was messed up. If they were refunding me because it wasn't transfered, they would have refunded by my credit card, they are claiming they sent a check :confused3 they also show that the ressie was canceled & I didn't cancel it... so it is more than just waiting a few days or just not transfering the deposit. It is a major screw up on accountings part. I didn't cancel & paid by credit card, they cancel & send a check.... makes no sence to me :confused3

2 out of 3 of my R ressies were switched to 12 digit ressies & the credit card deposit followed them.... only on one it didn't... and I didn't cancel the ressie, the CM didn't cancel it... accounting did! That is what they told the CM when he checked for me. He showed it as canceled...and didn't see anything about the deposit...he didn't know were it went either until he contacted them... they made a mistake. This is what I am telling everyone, check your ressie, don't just assume that it is ok. Mine wasn't...... there isn't a need for an explination... they messed up one of my ressies. Accounting told the CM they didn't see the credit card that it was paid by so they were sending me a check.... there never was a request for the refund which would explain why they didn't get the credit card info to give the credit back to... they weren't suppose to be doing that....

When I called about mine I called the number listed on the online site. (407) 939-7675. I asked the lady to review my vacation plans and she did and it was all correct. She aslo said it is showing a balance of 0.00 and then she said she would mail out another confirmation, I had never received the first one until yestaerday. I would call that number and if she says everything is okay ask her to send another confirmation so you have it showing the o.oo balance. I'm not sure if the people who called us about the glitch are in the same place as the regular booking castmembers. If you can call them and leave a message which I recall reading some people did then I would think they are not in the central booking section. I'm not sure if it makes a difference who you call, but I felt better when I called the main number and they were able to pull up my information and it was correct. If anything it would be a second person confirming your vacation.
 
the people calling were from the grand gathering department and she specifically told me that if I had any revisions to make to call her office directly as if I called the CRO line they would not be able to adjust that first night stay and may mess up the reservation.

Now when I check online - it is not showing any balance due or anything....but my Oct and Dec trips both show a balance due.

The ones that called us aren't in the same place as the ones that answer the phone, but they can get them for you. I have called the 800 # to leave a message for the guy I was dealing with ..and he did get it & he did call me back. The day I called to ask about why my confirmation was showing I owed a deposit, I did call the 800 #. They transfered me to "Guest Services" which is where the CM's that are doing the calling from are from. The guy I was origianlly dealing with wasn't in at the time which was why I got someone else (but in the Guest Service's dept where he is). Sorry if this is more confusing than helpful. The CM at Guest Service's is the one that check my ressies & found that I didn't owe a deposit on all 3 but only one of them. He contacted the accounting dept to find out what had happened. The CM that originally answered the phone basically couldn't help me at all other than tell me that I owed a deposit on all of my ressies.
 
Sharon - that is scary! The girl at the grand gatherings dept assured me I owed nothing.....but when the only paperwork I have says I owe $99.90 I am a little concerned! I just don't want to be expected to pay $$ upon check in!

It is, I really thought everything was ok. I am glad I called & questioned all of it. I am still concerned. 2 out of the 3 I was only told showed my deposit, I have nothing in writing from them. The 3rd was the one that not only showed that I owed my deposit, but was in actuality canceled out from under me. Had I not called, I would have never know it was even canceled :confused3 There was no mention of it on my confirmation, and as per the CM that helped me, it was canceled on the date the confirmation has on in 9/14 (that was my son't s b-day & I can remember the date). Then to mail me a check, when I paid by credit card, the entire thing got messed up royally. I still haven't gotten a check, nor an email, nor a letter telling me I am getting one. I know checks do take longer, but you would think since they canceled it on me, they would be sending me a confirmation that it was canceled, not one showing I owe my deposit???? I have stapled every thing from each of the ressies together. I have all of the confirmations that they emailed us showing the glitch rate, showing my deposit paid, then I have the printout of the My Disney Vacations showing I gave the deposit (before they changed everyone to a 12 didgit ressie). Then I have the date & new ressie number written down on it from when my dreaded call was made. When the new confirmations came in the mail, I stapled them to the top of the R ones, then I wrote down the date & the name of the CM that told me what had happened. Sooooo I have all my ducks in order :rotfl: I hope :confused3 I did give the CM my credit card again to secure that ressie accounting had canceled on me. He had no problems giving it back to me, he said it was clearly accountings error, not mine & could have it back (at the glitch rate, it was already switched for only 1 night). Only thing is,now I feel like I paid 2 times for it since I haven't gotten a refund on it yet.
