Meal before leaving late afternoon?
Have an ADR for Crystal Palace but will probably cancel - CANCELLED
Maybe Columbia Harbor House, Cosmic Rays, DTD WPE ??
Leaning toward DTD Wolfgang Puck Express (Marketplace) on the way out. DD can get her souvenir at WOD while we are there.

NOTE: Grandma is the one that wants to watch the kids while DH and I have a couple of meals together. Also, we do not plan to have the kids out late enough to watch Wishes as a family. DD might surprise us though.

Thanks!
Stacey

The only comment I'll make is based on that ADR for Citricos. Citricos, while one of the best Signatures for food, is probably the worst Signature to bring kids to. It is usually a bit more on the romantic side, it's quieter, it is not very visually pleasing for kids and hows no real exit strategy if you need to get out of the restaurant to either stop or prevent a meltdown. You might want to consider swapping Citricos for one of the other Signatures (Artist Point and Jiko may also be quite unappealing to kids) or maybe one of the dinner shows.

Of course, that is just my opinion. Enjoy your trip. :thumbsup2

Oh my goodness, you have some fabulous choices in there!! Love your MK snack options. Those are my 2 faves. Dole whips are amazing. But the ice cream sandwiches from MK bakery is even better! OMG its delish. But you must share, theyre huuuge! I wouldnt change a darn thing except to add WGPE (marketplace)! Its one of my fave restaurants...oh my word, their food is incredible. They have better food than some of the TS restaurants in disney! I'd definitely make time for this. And to top it off, go to Ghiradelli's for an incredible ice cream sundae. :) Yum!

Looks like a great line up to me. And I agree with goofyintoronto, WPE is wonderful - I'd do that on Friday! :goodvibes

I love your choices! Great planning. The snack options look exciting (and give me ideas for our upcoming trip:yay:).

I would do Sunshine Seasons for lunch at Epcot & WPE or Earl of Sandwich at DTD the last day, instead of CP at MK (that would really cut into your touring time, since with breakfast that would be about 4 hours at table service meals on a shorter day.

If you bail on Citrico's, and there are openings I like the idea that someone else mentioned of a dinner show - like the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review. Kids love it.

Thank you all.

WGPE is definitely an option for on the way out of town. We could let DD get her souvenir at DTD then.

I have swapped Citrico and Jiko. Jiko will be full family meal and Citrico will be DH and me.

Thanks again!

(Still open if there are other suggestions.)

I agree about citricos
There were a lot of kids at Jiko if you want everyone to go to that one

My only suggestion is I personally wouldn't do PF 2 x (even if they are different characters) I did dinner and breakfast on our last trip and was less than thrilled with either of them. If I had to chose I would chose dinner then maybe do breakfast at Ohana or Crystal palace if you still want a character meal. If you don't care about characters then I would do Kona or Boma

Any thoughts on Spirit of Aloha?

We don't care for it, at all. The show is boring and just drags, with the exception of a few entertaining moments towards the end. The food isn't great, but you won't leave hungry. When it was over we had wished we spent our time and money somewhere else.

IMO, Hoop Dee Doo Review is the only dinner show worth going to. It's an old vaudeville type of show. The jokes are cheeky but it's a lot of fun. The menu is basically ribs, fried chicken, salad, corn bread, beans, mashed potatos and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Our upcoming trip will actually be the first time we aren't going to see it.
