Reviews on SOG rooms @ Contp

Just wondering how the accomidations were for the SOG rooms at the Contemporary? I think it is in the East Garden? Does that sound right?

The SOG rooms are in the North Garden Wing - not the main tower. This is by far the better of the two wing buildings. Closer to the food court, arcade, playground and the walkway to the MK.

The rooms are great - large with 2 queen beds and a twin sized daybed. Tons of storage and double vanities in the bathroom, with the facilities behind a separate door. The decor is bright and cheery. Hope you have a great trip!

I'll add that we felt right at home at the Contemporary--lots of people hung out on their patios, chatted with each other. really a very friendly atmosphere. we really enjoyed our stays there through SoG

We were there in January. DH and I stayed in the tower but my MIL stayed in the North Garden Wing through Shades of Green. She loved it. We spent a good deal of time in her room and I loved it too. The room was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was large and well layed out. She had sent in a request for a room as close to the tower as possible and they honored her request so she was extremely close to the tower's side entrance through the food court. The view from her room looked out onto Bay Lake and she could see the Electric Water Pageant from her window every night. This was her first trip to Disney and probably her last and the Contemporary hotel made it even more magical for her. Enjoy your trip.
